So the latest craze is buying a cheap PC or Mac mini and running it to your TV.  Add one of many media center apps that bring tons of content from the web onto one app, and you finally have web TV the way it was meant to be.   I have been using Plex for Mac with great results.  I use the Rowmote App on my iphone as the remote although the Apple remote will work, it just stinks.  Adding a bluetooth mouse and keyboard is great too, but I’ve found unnecessary with the Rowmote app since it will simulate your mouse and you can type on it.  I’ve used Boxee a bit and thought it was a bit confusing.  I’m about to try out XBMC, Xbox’s media open source media center that has been translated to all platforms including Apple TV.
