David Nixon – Director
A while back I had the opportunity to sit down with David Nixon, director of “Letters to God” as well as the owner of DNP Studios in Orlando, Florida. David has been very successful in bringing feature film making back to the Central Florida area. In fact, most people in the industry have David pegged as the man who will single-handedly revive the feature film business in Orlando. That’s a pretty big task to take on . . . but with “Letters to God” ready for a spring opening and other films lined up on the horizon, I have a feeling that he is just the man for the job.
David and I spoke about some of the qualities it takes to make it as a feature film director, as well as the kind of personality that it takes to be a good director. We talked a bit about the role of interns and PAs on set and how a little bit of hard work could really pay off in this business.

Have you ever thought about making a movie about the inner strength we all have and may not use it. For example when Joshua went into battle at Jericho Moses Joshua mentor and teacher was not there to give Joshua instructions, However in Joshua 5:13 when God sent an Angel to meet with Joshua to let Joshua know that God will be with him, the Commander of Gods Army. God will send his Angels to fight our battles against the great dragon if we ask God to help us. This is wear Joshua was at because he must have been praying all the time To God since Moses was no longer there. So to let Joshua know the His Lord is there God sent his Angel to protect and comfort Joshua. This small story would be a great film about our faith inside of all of us if just learn to use it like Joshua did. Please read these to subjects Deuteronomy 31:7
and Daniel 10:13 . We have the knowledge to support us all if Just ask God to support us in this war against the Dragon . Read Ephesians 6:12
Thank You for all of your hard work you and your film team .
