A native of Florida, Chad Crawford has oranges in his blood. He grew up in the Orlando area in a great little town called Lake Mary, and eventually made his way to the U.S. Navy. After serving four years, Chad returned home and got some more schooling, receiving a degree in video and film from Full Sail University.

Chad has been part owner of Black Coffee Multimedia Productions, has served as a freelance producer and director of photography, and also worked on feature films. He formed The Crawford Group in 2001, and says his main job here is “coming up with ideas…ideas are king.” He’s also the host of the syndicated TV show how to Do florida and DPs many special projects.

I really enjoyed talking with Chad during this interview because you could tell that he is very passionate about this industry – something that we both share.   In my opinion, the people that are the most passionate about working in production are the ones that are the most successful.  This is definitely true with Chad and his company, The Crawford Group.  As soon as I know more, I will keep you posted on when and where his TV show, how to Do florida will air.  It is definitely something you won’t want to miss – just like our interview below.  Enjoy.
