I had the opportunity to sit down with Bob Zelin recently and have a little chat. Bob and I go way back – about 8 years to be exact – but we’ve never actually met. Why? Well, because most of my interaction with Bob was through the forum site Creative Cow. He has helped me, and countless others, with problems ranging from Avid permission troubles all the way through to how to set up my Kona 3 card. This is what Bob does – and he’s pretty good at it too.

In this interview, I asked Bob about the future of the industry and his thoughts on the future of technology in general. I was also able to get to the bottom of where he gets his nickname, in addition to a few other colorful stories about his career. Enjoy.
