The gear you have right now is enough to show your greatness. The iPhone 3GS fashion photo shoot. [Video Example]
This is a great behind the scenes video of photographer Lee Morris using an iPhone 3Gs (not even a 4.0) for a fashion photo shoot. It’s very well done and inspiring to boot. It simply reinforces my previous point that experience and creativity are the main drivers of our profession. People are doing amazing things with “crap” and so can you. If you are lucky enough to own professional quality gear and resources, then I expect nothing but greatness! Granted, Lee has a nice lighting setup, but that’s certainly attainable.
Just another inspiring pep talk from your “tough love” dad.

I saw this article earlier today as well, and thought the same thing. I’ve been saying for years it doesn’t matter what equipment or software you have, if you have talent and creativity your work will shine through. Extremely impressive results and a very well done video. Bravo to fstoppers.
Great stuff! I really enjoyed this video and learned how to shoot with a crappy camera. Now if I can just learn how to use my Nikon D-5000, I’ll be in good shape.
