Matrox announces HD monitoring for Avid Media Composer 5

Avid finally breaks free from proprietary hardware with the Matrox MXO 2 Mini. Version 5 of the Media Composer software allows for HD playback through Matrox’s MXO 2 Mini. The Mini offers full HD monitoring solutions (color calibration tools, blue-only, etc.) as well as output via HDMI, analog component, s-video and composite. Avid editors everywhere are rejoicing.
