Here’s another way to write off that smartphone in your pocket as a production expense – as if you haven’t been doing that already. Our friend, Eric Emerick, shared this link with us and I have to admit, I didn’t realize that there were this many apps available for production. Hand Held Hollywood compiled the list of iPhone apps as well as Android apps that are production related.

Just like any list on the internet, you have to weed through some of the crap (for some reason “Baby Names Plus” is listed here – I can’t figure out why)  however, there are some interesting productivity tools included. I haven’t had a chance to try them all – $.99 here and $2.99 there definitely adds up over time – but there are a few on the list that have helped me in a pinch.
