The best of handheld computing at NAB – A Video Countdown [NAB Video]

If there was one thing to come away with this year from NAB it was…..3D

But…if there was a second thing to come away with, it was that the broadcasting industry is eagerly embracing the iPod, iPhone and iPad.  Mobile is king nowadays.

It was easy to overlook some of the most innovative products at NAB, because not every company can have a booth bigger than your house.  Here’s a breakdown of the coolest handheld stuff that showcased at NAB 2010 with a little help from our friends.

#1 Gradiest – an iPad remote control surface for color grading.  Handheld Hollywood has the scoop.

#2 Doddle – The app that gets you payin’ gigs

#3 The Redrock Micro Remote - a remote focus controller for the iPhone/iPod Touch

#4 The iPad Prompter by Prompter People

#5 Vericorder’s 1st Video – A video editing application for iPhone.

We can’t catch everything here at PA, but if you saw something cool at NAB and you think we should talk about it, put it in the comments. Will you or your team be investing in any of these new wonders in the future?
