Edit a YouTube Video within YouTube via the YouTube Editor. For real? Yeah for real.
YouTube, a subsidiary of Google Inc. (duh), has quietly rolled out a beta web based video editor. It compiles all your uploaded videos into a bin. Allows you to add “approved” audio tracks, and lets you marry the two together…you know… aka editing. It’s by no means sophisticated, in fact, it’s down right Fischer-Price, but it’s just another step in the direction of cloud media, cloud content delivery, and it’s no worse than Microsoft’s Movie Maker some years back. Google does reserve the right to run ads on your video, but I bet you could’ve guessed that coming from a free video editor. I’m not exactly sure how long this has even been around. I just kind of stumbled upon it today. So forgive me if “I’m so July.”
