Doddle might not be the newest 35mm camera that records on SD cards or the newest software that removes objects from your videos in real-time, but you will soon come to love this innovation in production. Doddle’s slogan is “The Easy Guide to Production” and nothing could be more true.  Doddle is the future of production guides that happens to live in your smart phone and it’s totally free.  Simply sign up for an account, add your two free listings (camera operator, transportation captain, etc.) and you’re on your way. There are upgraded listings that you can purchase that allow you to add videos, a resume or even an enhanced listing that looks like a banner ad – but the core service of Doddle is free.

The idea behind the app is that if you’re in an unfamiliar location and need a crew member, a hotel or even talent – you simply search Doddle’s database.  It utilizes the GPS capabilities in your phone and locates all of the people or services that are in your area.  You can push notifications to anyone using Doddle and secure the person or service that you need quickly and easily.
