Digital Juice Stack Traxx is dead – Music Box is alive!

A few weeks ago Digital Juice, an Orlando based company, makers of the ubiquitous Jumpbacks graphic elements, sold their last Stack Traxx DVD.

I mourned the loss.

Over the years, I’ve gotten accustomed to adding Stack Traxx to almost all of my productions, because they are royalty free, affordable and better yet, layered. The layered aspect of these music cuts is huge. Using the Juicer software bundled with the DVD’s, you can delete an offending instrument right out of the song. In my case, it was almost always the synth keyboard. Man, I hate the synth keyboard! The end result was usually a drum, bass and guitar background that was suitable for a multitude of productions.

So, needless to say when Digital Juice cancelled Stack Traxx and all it’s scores of volumes, I was forlorn. Rising from the ashes of Stack Traxx comes Music Box Collection 1, a new and improved layered music collection that includes new vocal elements that are removable. This is another step up in the music quality of this collection. I actually liked a lot of the sample vox elements! Collection 1 comes with 100 new original songs with 290 different duration variants. There are 11 categories and up to 10 different layers, you can add/remove. This is up from the usual 4 or 5 with Stack Traxx. The first collection will cost $199 with $99 in other digital juice products, of which there are tons.

I would definitely suggest you give them a listen. They have been a valuable asset to our productions.

Full disclosure: I do not work for Digital Juice and was not solicited for this review. I just like their stuff, and needed something to write about.
