Last week I brought you news of Sony’s consumer DSLR/Camcorder Hybrid known as the NEX-VG10. It has impressive specs, and will no doubt sell well, but the biggest drawback was that is uses Sony and Konica lenses, which not too many of us have lying around.

Well there’s hope. The world’s first PL and Nikon G to E mount adapters are in development. This should greatly enhance the appeal of this camera, but don’t go crazy. You know all the other camera manufacturers including Canon are going to have to debut their camcorder/DSLR hybrids, so you’re going to have a nice choice.
